About the Role
We are seeking a Sales Support Representative to join a dynamic team supporting industrial automation products and solutions. This role is focused on delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the sales process through order coordination, quoting, and post-sales support.
This is a non-cold-calling role. The successful candidate will act as a key point of contact for customers and internal teams, ensuring smooth order processing, timely communication, and accurate system updates.
Key Responsibilities
Provide responsive pre-sales and post-sales customer support
Prepare and process customer quotes and purchase orders
Enter, track, and manage customer orders in the system
Monitor open orders and coordinate with warehouse and shipping teams for timely fulfillment, including rush orders
Respond to customer inquiries via email in a timely and skilled manner
Support account managers and sales teams with territory and customer needs
Maintain accurate customer and order records within the system
Communicate effectively with internal departments to resolve service issues or order discrepancies
Support returns, refunds, and order adjustments in coordination with warehouse teams
Provide updates to management regarding customer concerns or service issues
Maintain robust knowledge of company products and applications
Perform other related duties as required
Skills & Qualifications
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong problem-solving and customer service orientation
Proficiency with computers and basic mathematical skills
Experience with NetSuite is an asset (training provided if needed)
Knowledge of pneumatics or industrial automation products is an asset
Education & Experience
Diploma or degree in Engineering (Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical) or related field preferred
1–3 years of customer service, sales support, or order coordination experience preferred
