Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. This role requires a positive attitude, strong multitasking skills, and a passion for creating a welcoming environment for our customers. Previous experience in the food industry, especially as a barista, is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided. The position involves working in a fast-paced setting where attention to detail and excellent communication are essential.

Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks following standardized recipes.
Operate POS systems, including Square POS, accurately handling cash and credit transactions.
Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about products, and provide excellent customer service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations and dining space.
Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling procedures and safety standards.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality.
Restock supplies as needed and assist with inventory management.




Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards at all times.

Qualifications
Previous experience as a Barista or in the Food Service industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates.
Strong Customer Service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
Basic Math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing transactions accurately.
Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Square POS, is a plus.
Excellent Time Management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
Knowledge of Food Safety standards and proper Food Handling procedures.
Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.
Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as needed.

Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour
