Enhance aquatic skills as an Aquatic Leadership Instructor, teaching courses like National Lifeguard and Swim Instructor. Ensure safety and compliance while fostering participant growth and progress.
In this role, you will plan and conduct aquatic leadership programs in alignment with Ontario Health Regulations. Your responsibilities include ensuring operational equipment, evaluating participant performance, and responding to emergencies.
Communication is key as you relay performance feedback to participants.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and implement aquatic leadership program instruction
Ensure compliance with health regulations and policies
Evaluate and certify participant performance and attendance
Communicate progress to participants regularly
Support program operations through documentation and reports
Requirements:
3 months of relevant experience in aquatic instruction
Current National Lifeguard Service award and certifications
Valid CPR Level “C” and Standard First Aid Certificate
Ability to manage aquatic emergencies and difficult situations
Reliable attitude with robust work ethic
Become an effective aquatic instructor, teaching lifesaving skills while ensuring participant safety and compliance.
