Job Summary

Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive health and safety policies tailored to manufacturing environments.
Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
Lead training sessions on safety procedures, emergency response, and best practices to ensure all staff are well-equipped.
Investigate incidents or accidents thoroughly, document findings, and recommend measures to prevent recurrence.
Collaborate with management to integrate safety protocols into daily operations and ongoing projects.
Stay up-to-date with local regulations and industry standards related to health and safety compliance.




Promote a safety-first culture by engaging employees at all levels and encouraging open communication about safety concerns.

Requirements
Proven experience in a manufacturing (food preferred) setting with a strong understanding of industry-specific safety practices.
Demonstrated ability in training & development to effectively educate teams on health and safety protocols.
Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and standards applicable to manufacturing environments.
Excellent communication skills for explicit instruction, reporting, and collaboration across departments.
Strong analytical skills for conducting risk assessments and incident investigations.
Ability to lead by example, motivate teams, and foster a culture of continuous safety improvement.

Pay: $80,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
