Ecole Mallaig School in Mallaig, AB, is seeking a dedicated part time Educational Assistant. This role offers the chance to work closely with students in a supportive, educational environment.
We require an experienced Educational Assistant for a 0.5 FTE position to start immediately until June 29, 2027. Ideal candidates will have a background in Early Intervention programming and possess a patient, enthusiastic, and student-centered approach. You will collaborate with teachers to enhance student learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support teachers in classroom instruction
• Assist with Early Intervention programming
• Foster a positive learning setting
• Work one-on-one with students as needed
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions
Requirements:
• Experience as an Educational Assistant preferred
• Knowledge of Early Intervention programming is an asset
• Must complete a Criminal Record Check
• Current Alberta Child Intervention Record Check required
• Solid communication and teamwork skills
