Responsibilities
Assist with basic food preparation tasks, including chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients to support chefs and cooks
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, utensils, and cookware to uphold food safety standards
Support the cooking process by organizing ingredients and ensuring all items are ready for meal service
Help with food handling procedures in accordance with health and safety regulations
Serve food and beverages efficiently to guests or staff in a courteous manner
Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly stored, cleaned, and maintained for optimal operation




Follow all food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure hygiene standards are met

Experience
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential; willingness to learn is key!
Familiarity with food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly processes is advantageous
Knowledge of food handling safety practices within the food industry is highly desirable
Experience working in busy kitchens or catering settings will help you thrive in this role
