Superior Roofing Ltd. is growing rapid, and we’re looking for an experienced Roofing & Siding Estimator who wants to build a serious career with one of Calgary’s growing exterior construction companies.

This is not an entry-level position. You must have previous roofing, siding, building-envelope, or exterior construction estimating experience.

You’ll work on everything from residential and multi-family developments to large commercial projects, working directly with our estimating, project management, production and procurement teams.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Prepare detailed roofing, siding and exterior estimates
Complete accurate material and labour takeoffs
Read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications and tender packages
Prepare and coordinate project submittals, product data, samples and shop drawings
Review specifications to ensure proposed systems meet project requirements
Obtain and negotiate supplier and subcontractor pricing
Prepare qualified proposals, scopes, alternates and exclusions
Identify value-engineering and cost-saving opportunities
Assist with RFIs, addendums and tender revisions
Coordinate successful projects from estimating through handoff to production
Work directly with builders, developers, general contractors, architects and suppliers




Follow up on bids and help turn opportunities into awarded projects

What We’re Looking For:
Roofing, siding, exteriors or building-envelope experience is required
Previous estimating experience is required
Strong knowledge of roofing and siding systems
Experience with construction drawings, specifications and submittals
Strong computer and estimating skills
Excellent attention to detail
Organized, accountable and able to manage multiple bids at once
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Valid driver’s licence
