As a Deli cook, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our customers while ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and safety. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment where you will assist in food service operations, maintain cleanliness, and contribute to a positive shopping experience for our patrons. Responsibilities
Preparing items including meat pies, quiches and meal preps through established recipes and food safety standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and well-maintained.
Assist customers with their selections, providing knowledgeable recommendations and answering any questions regarding products.
Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process customer transactions accurately.
Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock and assisting with ordering supplies as needed.
Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines during food handling and preparation processes.




Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours while maintaining high-quality service.

Requirements
Previous experience in food preparation or food service within the restaurant or food industry is preferred.
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential.
Basic math skills are necessary for accurate measurement and transaction processing.
Would like to have someone that has a creative mind and knows there way around a kitchen.
Solid time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor to engage effectively with customers.
Adaptable and early start times are a must.
Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required.
