In this in office role, you will manage the content, style, and layout of the newspaper and community guidebook while coordinating news coverage with local military units and Public Affairs Officers. As a key part of our mission to support the Canadian Armed Forces community, you'll leverage your editorial expertise to connect with various stakeholders and promote key messages through diverse media channels.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and organize newspaper publications and newsletters
• Edit and write stories covering local events
• Collaborate with Public Affairs Officers and base units
• Integrate content across social media platforms
• Ensure effective advertising collaboration with sales representatives
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism or related field
• Experience in coordinating newspaper publications
• Proficiency in desktop publishing tools
• Robust communication and project management skills
• Must be fluent in French
