As a Registered Nurse within our General Surgery/Thoracics team, you will utilize exceptional clinical and critical thinking skills. You will assess, plan, and implement patient-centered care while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team. This role includes the unique prospect to receive specialized observation training, enhancing your practices and patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive nursing services to diverse patient populations
• Monitor and manage trauma patients receiving post-operative care
• Collaborate with healthcare colleagues in a agile setting
• Direct and supervise the care by health care aides and LPNs
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
• Completion of an accredited nursing program
• Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
• Proven organizational and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to assist with patient mobilization
