In this full time role, you will support the Director of Care while spearheading best practices and risk management initiatives. Bring your experience in long-term care to effectively manage nursing supplies, quality assessments, and staff mentoring. Your leadership will foster a culture focused on resident-centered care, implementing standards of practice and overseeing key programs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Implement quality improvement and risk management initiatives
• Manage nursing supplies for optimal utilization
• Develop and support staff training programs
• Coordinate the High Intensity Needs program
• Mentor staff in the Resident Home Areas

Requirements:
• Registered Nurse with College of Nurses of Ontario
• Minimum three years in long-term care
• Knowledge of clinical issues for geriatric residents
• Experience with RAI-MDS
• Background in quality improvement practices
