Cheese Maker Helper / Production Assistant

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cheese Maker Helper to assist with cheese production.

This is a hands-on position, so we are looking for someone who is a rapid learner, works efficiently, and is comfortable being on their feet for long periods of time.

Main Duties:
Assist with receiving milk deliveries
Help with the milk pasteurization process
Assist the cheese maker with cooking and preparing cheese
Help with different stages of cheese production
Assist the cheese maker with various duties around the production area
Prepare and organize materials and equipment as needed
Keep the work area clean and organized
Follow food safety and sanitation procedures

We Are Looking For Someone Who:




Is a rapid learner and able to follow instructions
Works quickly and efficiently
Can stand and work on their feet for long periods
Is reliable, responsible, and punctual
Pays attention to detail
Is comfortable working in a food production workplace
Works well independently and as part of a team
Is willing to learn the cheese-making process

Experience in cheese making or food production is an asset, but not required. Training can be provided for the right person.
