Provide essential community-based medical oversight as an Advanced Care Paramedic with Emergency Health Services. Your expertise will ensure timely treatment and patient advocacy within diverse healthcare systems.
As an Advanced Care Paramedic, you will operate within the Edmonton zone, working collaboratively with healthcare providers to deliver urgent and primary care in community settings. You’ll assess emergency situations, transport patients, and administer advanced life support, ensuring optimal patient care at all times. Your solid communication and clinical decision-making skills are crucial in this energetic role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess patients and emergency scenes for immediate care
• Administer advanced life support and medications
• Lead ALS teams during patient transport
• Maintain and stock ambulances for operational readiness
• Document patient care accurately in health databases
Requirements:
• Non-restricted ACP registration with Alberta College
• Current BCLS CPR certification
• Valid Class 4 Alberta Operator's License
• Successful completion of the F.A.R.E. test
• Robust proficiency in health databases and communication skills
Deliver exemplary EMS care and support community health initiatives as an Advanced Care Paramedic.
