Become a valued Primary Care Paramedic with Emergency Health Services in the Town of Bashaw. As a Primary Care Paramedic (PCP), you will be integral to patient treatment and care in emergencies. Your responsibilities will include operating ambulances, administering basic life support, and stocking transport vehicles to meet established standards. This position demands a high level of physical fitness, enabling you to handle heavy lifting and endure pressing environmental conditions while providing lifesaving support. Key Responsibilities:
Assess emergency scenes and transport ill or injured patients
Administer minor medications and provide basic life support




Lead BLS crew during patient care and transport
Ensure ambulances are properly stocked and equipped
Travel in various weather conditions to remote locations Requirements:
Registration in positive standing with Alberta College of Paramedics
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
Valid Class 4 Alberta Operator's Licence with driver abstract
Completion of the Functional Abilities Recruitment Evaluation test
