As the Shelter Care Support Team Lead, you will oversee a energetic team in a frontline role, ensuring the smooth operation of emergency shelters. You will assist in team development, patron care, and compliance with safety regulations while addressing critical incidents as they arise. Your leadership will directly impact the service quality for individuals experiencing homelessness.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with oversight of shelter operations and safety compliance
• Lead onboarding and training for new team members




• Provide patron-centered harm reduction and intake services
• Facilitate team debriefs to improve service delivery
• Ensure proper documentation and data integrity within HIFIS

Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in a health-related field
• 2+ years of leadership experience in a relevant setting
• Solid communication skills with diverse individuals
• Understand trauma-informed care and harm reduction approaches
• CPR/First Aid certification and valid driver's license required
