Reporting to the Director of Corporate Planning and Development, you will manage renovation and capital projects, ensuring adherence to specifications and user requirements. Collaborate with design consultants, manage contract administration, and control project costs effectively throughout each phase. Your role is crucial in delivering high-quality healthcare projects that positively impact patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage capital or renovation projects • Consolidate and interpret user requirements for design consultants • Liaise with jurisdictional authorities and manage tendering processes • Monitor budgets and propose corporate measures as needed • Compile financial and construction documentation meticulously
Requirements: • 4-year degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) • 10+ years of related project management experience • Proven skills in construction details and contract law • Direct management of projects up to $5M • Knowledge of hospital equipment function and costs
