Come and join our team at the Sturgeon Community Hospital! As a Respiratory Therapist I, you will be a pivotal member of the interprofessional team and works collaboratively with all disciplines. In this role, you will assess patients, develop and implement respiratory therapy care plans and monitor their progress.

You will provide training and assist health care providers in the use and care of respiratory equipment as well as educate patients and their families regarding diseases, medications, equipment and treatments. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain robust experience as you will float through all of the areas of the hospital and work both independently and with interprofessional teams in throughout the units. This position requires you to work in various departments, support the respiratory therapists in all clinical areas.

Working closely with patients, your team and physicians will be an significant aspect of this position, so strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships will be integral to your success.
