Part-Time

Bank & Baron is looking for an outgoing, organized, and dependable Host to join our front-of-house team in downtown Calgary.

As the first and last point of contact for many of our guests, our hosts play an important role in setting the tone for the entire experience. We are looking for someone who is welcoming, confident, quick on their feet, and comfortable working in a busy restaurant and bar environment.

What You’ll Do

- Welcome guests and create a strong first impression.
- Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists.
- Seat guests efficiently while maintaining proper table rotation.
- Communicate with servers and managers to manage the flow of the restaurant.
- Answer phones and assist with guest inquiries.
- Help organize reservations, large parties, and special events.
- Maintain a clean and organized host stand and entrance.
- Thank guests as they leave and help ensure they had a positive experience.
- Assist the service team with light support duties when needed.
- Stay informed about menu offerings, promotions, events, and venue information.

What We’re Looking For

- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to stay calm and organized during busy services.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Comfortable working as part of a fast-paced team.
- Available for evenings and weekends.
- Previous restaurant, hospitality, or customer service experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person.

Schedule: Evenings, weekends, and occasional daytime shifts as required

Pay: $19.00 per hour
