Express Employment Professionals is recruiting a Part-Time General Laborer for one of our clients in the furniture industry. This is an excellent opportunity for a dependable and hardworking individual who enjoys physical work, heavy lifting, and providing great customer service.

This is an on-call position with flexible scheduling, offering 2–4 shifts per week and an immediate start .

Job Duties

- Unload furniture and materials from incoming shipments.
- Lift, move, and organize furniture throughout the warehouse.
- Palletize products and prepare items for storage or pickup.
- Assist customers with loading orders and merchandise.
- Handle products carefully to prevent damage.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Perform general warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Ability to perform frequent heavy lifting throughout the shift.
- Comfortable handling large, bulky,



and heavy furniture.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and versatile with availability.
- Previous warehouse, moving, furniture handling, or general labour experience is considered an asset.

Requirements

- CSA-approved safety shoes/steel-toe boots are required.
- Ability to safely lift 50 lbs. or more.
- Commitment to workplace health and safety standards.
