Join the Department of Physiology at McGill University as a Teaching Assistant to facilitate lab learning and assist with research techniques. This role focuses on preparing experiments and guiding students in critical lab procedures. The Teaching Assistant will provide support for the PHGY 351 course and attend lab sessions to assist students. Key responsibilities include preparing experiments, demonstrating procedures, grading reports, and monitoring student inquiries during Zoom sessions. Effective communication in English and hands-on experience in cell culture and microscopy are essential for success in this role. Key Responsibilities:
- Run weekly quizzes and grade lab reports
- Prepare experiments and demonstrate techniques for students
- Assist with flow cytometry datasets and software troubleshooting
- Monitor Zoom sessions for student questions
- Guide students on downloading essential software Requirements:
- B.Sc. in Science and registered graduate student
- Experience in protein trafficking and microscopy
- Robust English communication skills
