Police Officer - Mansfield Township, Burlington.
Police Department of Burlington County is accepting applications for the position of Police Officer. Current salary range is $55,615 to $123,019 (plus holiday pay). Applicants with three years of full-time police experience may be offered a higher starting salary.
Updated Eligibility Criteria for the Mansfield Township Police Officer Position:
Must not be less than 21 years of age or more than 35 years of age, unless currently enrolled in Police and Firemen’s Retirement System;
Must be a citizen of the United States and a resident of the State of Recent Jersey;
Must possess a valid New Jersey driver’s license;
Must have completed a minimum of 60 college credits or possess an Associate’s Degree at the time of application, this requirement will be waived for applicants that possess a basic course for police officer certification with police/patrol experience;
Must have a good reputation and be of sound moral character and must not have been convicted of any crime involving moral turpitude;
Must be able to demonstrate ability to qualify with required weapons;
Must be able to meet the standards of the agency tattoo policy. No tattoos on face, neck, or hands;
Must have a SLEO II certification and be eligible for a waiver to satisfy the basic training requirements or currently enrolled in or a graduate of the Basic Course for Police Officers from a New Jersey PTC certified police academy. This does not include out-of-state waivers;
Those that do not possess a PTC Certification must reside in the following Burlington County communities:? Mansfield Township? Chesterfield Township? Springfield Township? North Hanover Township
