Lead research initiatives as the Director at Canadore College's Research Centre in North Bay, ON. Oversee the development, execution, and strategic alignment of research priorities.

In this permanent full time role, report directly to the Vice-President Academic while managing the Centre’s administrative and financial operations. You will establish a positive research culture and collaborate closely with academic faculties to drive innovative research programs. Key objectives include enhancing the College's reputation and fostering valuable community partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop research plans aligned with strategic academic goals
• Manage administrative and financial needs of the Research Centre




• Promote new research initiatives with academic faculties
• Foster collaborations with various industry and educational stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with external funder standards

Requirements:
• PhD in a relevant field
• At least seven years of research experience
• Project management certification (PMP) preferred
• Knowledge of research funding and compliance structures
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
