Role Description The Sales Specialist role is a full-time, on-site position based at Jaguar Land Rover Royal Oak in Calgary, AB. This role is responsible for guiding clients through the vehicle purchase process, including greeting visitors, conducting needs assessments, presenting appropriate vehicle options, arranging test drives, and explaining features, pricing, and financing options.

The Sales

Specialist will prepare quotes, handle negotiations within dealership guidelines, and complete necessary sales documentation accurately and promptly. Day-to-day tasks also include maintaining product knowledge on Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles, following up with leads and existing clients, updating the CRM system, and collaborating with service and finance teams to ensure a seamless customer experience. The role involves meeting sales targets, participating in training sessions,



and representing the dealership at promotional events when required.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and active listening abilities.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills, with a focus on building rapport, managing client expectations, and ensuring a positive dealership experience.
- Candidates should possess proven Sales skills, including prospecting, consultative selling, closing techniques, and working toward defined targets.
- Candidates should possess experience in Training or a willingness to participate in ongoing product and sales training to maintain up-to-date knowledge.
- Candidates should possess foundational Sales Management-related skills, such as pipeline management, basic reporting, and adherence to dealership processes.
- Relevant qualifications include prior experience in automotive sales or retail sales, familiarity with luxury or premium brands, and comfort working with CRM and dealership management systems.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, strong organizational skills, resilience in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
