Our client, a leading logistics and courier services provider, is seeking a Halifax Courier Package Handler to join their team. As a Halifax Courier Package Handler, you will be part of the operations support team, ensuring efficient sorting and handling of packages to meet delivery deadlines. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Halifax Courier Package Handler

Pay Range: $17 per hour

Shift: Starting at 1:00 am, with potential for longer hours depending on sorting volume

What's the Job?

Sort and organize courier packages efficiently at the designated station
Use the paunch system to process packages accurately
Ensure all safety protocols are followed, including wearing steel-toed work boots and safety vests
Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Support team efforts to meet daily operational goals

What's Needed?

No prior experience required; training will be provided
Ability to work early morning shifts starting at 1 am
Must wear steel-toed work boots and safety vests
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
