Key Responsibilities:
• Advise First Nations leaders on political and policy priorities
• Develop advocacy strategies aligned with Nation objectives
• Monitor legislative activities and committee agendas
• Prepare clients for witness opportunities in government
• Draft briefing notes, committee submissions, and correspondence
Requirements:
• Minimum of eight years in government relations or strategic consulting
• Experience with First Nations and Indigenous organizations
• Understanding of First Nations rights and jurisdiction
• Robust political judgment and discretion
• Excellent writing and communication skills
