What you will do

Build strong client relationships and grow a book of business you are proud of

Assess client needs, recommend appropriate coverage and place personal or commercial insurance

Create referral relationships and spot opportunities across multiple product lines





Deliver excellent service while maintaining strong documentation and compliance standards

Bring ideas, energy and a team-first attitude to a growing brokerage

You are entrepreneurial, accountable and relationship-focused. You enjoy building new business, meeting people and being part of a team that wants to win together. You take the work seriously without taking yourself too seriously. Insurance experience, an existing network and an established book of business are strong assets.

Candidates must hold the appropriate insurance licence, or become appropriately licensed, before conducting regulated insurance activities.

Requirements

Valid RIBO licence, or the ability and commitment to become appropriately licensed before conducting any regulated insurance activities

Robust communication, relationship-building and client-service skills

An entrepreneurial mindset with the motivation to develop new business and build a book of clients

Comfortable networking, asking for referrals and creating opportunities within the community

Self-motivated, organized and able to manage priorities in a commission-only environment

Professional, ethical and committed to maintaining strong documentation and compliance standards

Willingness to participate in ongoing training, mentorship and professional development

Ability to work independently while collaborating with underwriting, service, operations and leadership teams

Comfortable using technology, brokerage systems and digital communication tools
