The Department of Recreation & Community Safety is looking for a dedicated Recreation Facility Attendant. This role involves responding to inquiries from facility users, granting access to equipment, and enforcing facility regulations to maintain safety and compliance. You will contribute to community development through direct interaction and support. Key Responsibilities:
Respond to inquiries from users and the public
Permit access to areas and equipment in facilities
Enforce facility rules and regulations
Collaborate with community organizations and youth
Support recreational programs and initiatives Requirements:
Some experience in a recreation setting
Knowledge of facility operations and regulations
Current Standard First Aid, C.P.R. Level C, and AED certifications
Ability to work with volunteer groups and community members
