About the Role Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Security Engineer to join their dedicated security team in Kimberley . Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage robust security controls for cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify potential weaknesses.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
- Monitor security systems and respond effectively to security incidents and threats.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure security is integrated into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Stay current with emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies, and recommend appropriate countermeasures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a solid focus on cloud security.
- Proven experience with cloud security best practices and services across major providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Hands‑on experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and vulnerability management solutions.
- Strong understanding of network security, cryptography, identity and access management (IAM).
- Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or cloud‑specific security certifications are highly desirable.
