In this senior security engineer role, you will lead Affirm's end-to-end AI security review processes. This includes architecture evaluation, risk prioritization, and developing controls tailored to AI/LLM technologies. You will also work collaboratively with Security, Legal, Privacy, and Engineering teams to enhance the adoption of AI systems securely.
Key Responsibilities:



- Build and run AI security review processes - Conduct threat modeling of AI systems - Review source code and system prompts for security weaknesses - Design security guardrails for AI tools and permissions - Evaluate third-party SaaS vendors and their AI capabilities
Requirements: - Experience in enterprise-level AI security architecture - Proficiency in Python and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) - Familiarity with cloud services and Kubernetes - Hands-on experience with threat modeling for AI systems - Understanding of regulatory settings like SOC 2 and PCI DSS
