As a dedicated Swim Coach, you will lead skill development, implement tailored lesson plans, and create supportive experiences for participants with autism. Collaborate with Support Workers and Onsite Supervisors to foster a positive atmosphere while ensuring all swimming activities run smoothly. Your role includes crafting lesson plans based on the curriculum and adapting to diverse participant needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver organized lesson plans matching program goals
• Use autism-informed methods to engage participants
• Support Support Workers in guiding participants
• Ensure timely setup and breakdown of sessions
• Assess and report on participant swimming skills
Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year coaching experience with youth
• Valid Standard First Aid and CPR-C Certification
• Lifesaving Society Swim Instructor Certification
• Comfortable in all pool depths
• Transparent criminal record check
