Join Wood's Homes as a Youth and Family Counsellor in the Lighthouse program. Provide essential support to children, youth, and families during shifts that cover 24/7 care.
In this crucial role, you will be a primary worker responsible for creating a structured workplace that fosters personal and social development. You will engage in various therapeutic responsibilities while participating actively in team meetings and planning sessions. Ensuring facility upkeep and adhering to licensing requirements are key components of your position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and maintain a structured environment for clients
• Actively participate in supervisory and team meetings
• Attend case conferences and intervention strategy meetings
• Maintain living space and program compliance
• Handle meal preparation and transportation for clients
Requirements:
• Diploma/Undergraduate Degree in relevant fields
• Minimum two to four years of related experience
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification
• Class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Preferred experience working with young people
