About the Opportunity
A Calgary practice with an active restructuring and insolvency group is seeking an associate to join its team, working on a range of corporate restructuring, receivership, and insolvency matters - an area of sustained demand in the Alberta market.

Key Responsibilities

Support restructuring, receivership, and insolvency proceedings

Draft pleadings, court materials, and creditor/stakeholder communications





Conduct legal research on insolvency and secured transactions law

Attend court appearances and stakeholder negotiations

Collaborate with senior counsel on complex multi-party files

Qualifications

Called to the Bar in Alberta, in good standing

1-5 years of experience in restructuring, insolvency, or related commercial litigation

Strong analytical, research, and drafting skills

Ability to manage multiple deadlines in rapid-moving files

Interest in building a specialized restructuring practice
