Step into a leadership role as a Sergeant at the Eenou Eeyou Police Force, where you will oversee operations and mentor Patrol Officers. This permanent position focuses on community policing and investigative management.
The Sergeant, reporting to the Lieutenant, plays a crucial role in coordinating interventions, managing workloads, and refining service delivery. You will assign and close investigative files while monitoring teams’ adherence to legal standards and promoting best practices. Robust communication skills will be key in this impactful role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assign, review, and close investigative files efficiently
• Mentor Patrol Officers on best practices and procedures
• Monitor service delivery effectiveness and efficiency
• Coordinate responses to critical incidents
• Assist in managing schedules and resource allocation
Requirements:
• Diploma from École Nationale de Police du Québec or equivalent
• 5 to 8 years of Police Officer experience
• Fluency in Cree, French, and English (2 languages minimum)
• Strong knowledge of EEPF policies and operations
• Valid driver’s license and clean criminal record
Lead community policing efforts and enhance operational effectiveness as an integral part of the Eenou Eeyou Police Force.
