Fraser Health is looking for a skilled Pediatric Psychiatric Liaison Nurse to enhance our interprofessional care team. You will perform intake assessments, conduct psychosocial evaluations, and collaborate with community mental health services. Your experience in an acute psychiatric setting will be vital as you assist pediatric patients and their families through mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
• Screen and prioritize psychiatric referrals from various sources
• Perform comprehensive psychosocial assessments on patients
• Develop and implement care plans with authorized dispositional recommendations




• Communicate with the interprofessional team on patient care issues
• Document patient interactions and care strategies clearly

Requirements:
• Graduation from an approved school of Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing
• Current registration with BCCNM as RN or RPN
• Minimum one year experience in an acute psychiatric setting
• Valid BC Driver's license and access to a vehicle
• Ability to conduct crisis interventions and assessments
