This high-travel position involves operating rail inspection vehicles and supporting rail flaw detection testing. You will manage DOT compliance while performing inspections and assisting with data collection. This role requires flexibility and commitment to safety, working in various weather conditions across the country. Key Responsibilities:
Operate hi-rail trucks and rail-bound detector cars
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Assist in rail flaw detection testing and data monitoring
Maintain cleanliness of vehicles and equipment
Communicate safety concerns with team members Requirements:
Valid CDL Class 5 with air brake endorsement
Solid communication skills in English
Pass health assessments and background check
Physically able to meet job demands
