Controls / PLC Programmer

Location: Woodstock, London, Guelph and St Catharines

Build, Program & Improve Advanced Manufacturing Automation

We're hiring an experienced Controls / PLC Programmer to join a growing manufacturing team. If you enjoy programming PLCs, troubleshooting automation systems, commissioning recent equipment, and working with contemporary manufacturing technology, we'd like to hear from you.

You'll play a key role in improving production uptime, supporting automation projects, and driving continuous improvement.

Responsibility
Develop and modify PLC programs
Troubleshoot production equipment and automation systems
Program and support HMIs (FactoryTalk View)
Commission new machinery and automation projects
Support ControlLogix, CompactLogix & PanelView systems
Configure industrial networks (EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, ControlNet)
Troubleshoot VFDs, servo systems and industrial controls




Support robotics and automated manufacturing equipment
Improve machine reliability and production efficiency
Work closely with Engineering, Maintenance and Production teams

Must have
3+ years of PLC programming experience in manufacturing
Solid experience with:
Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation
Studio 5000
RSLogix 5000
RSLogix 500
FactoryTalk View
RSLinx

Experience with:
ControlLogix
CompactLogix
PanelView HMI
PowerFlex Drives
Point I/O

Knowledge of:
EtherNet/IP
DeviceNet
ControlNet
Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour

Experience:
Programmable logic controllers: 2 years (required)
