Make a lasting impact as a Mental Health Worker with Options Community Services in the Southern Fraser region. Support adults with mental illness through engaging activities in our Clubhouse program.
In this vital role, you will facilitate a range of supportive activities for adults pursuing wellness. Reporting to the Program Manager, you will assess client needs, plan engaging activities, and maintain documentation of progress. Your collaboration with professionals and community services will enhance the effectiveness of our programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Interview and orient clients during initial assessments
Plan and facilitate psycho-social rehabilitation activities
Conduct ongoing assessments of client engagement
Maintain accurate client progress documentation
Collaborate with other health specialists for holistic care
Requirements:
Diploma in health or social sciences
Minimum 2 years experience in mental health services
Current Level I First Aid certificate
Class 5 driver’s license required, Class 4 preferred
Robust interpersonal and facilitation skills
