Fairbank Medical Clinic is seeking an experienced, full-time Medical Receptionist to join our brand-new, modern family medicine clinic in Toronto.

We are looking for a highly organized, friendly, and qualified individual who thrives in a rapid-paced, high-volume medical practice and is committed to providing exceptional customer service to every patient.

Responsibilities:
Greet and assist patients in a warm, courteous, and professional manner
Manage a busy reception desk and high patient volumes
Schedule appointments and coordinate physician schedules
Register patients and maintain accurate electronic medical records
Process referrals, requisitions, and incoming/outgoing faxes
Answer and direct a high volume of phone calls
Perform general administrative and clerical duties
Work collaboratively with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure efficient clinic operations
Work bi-weekly Saturday shifts

Qualifications:




Previous experience as a medical receptionist in a busy, high-traffic family medicine or walk-in clinic is required
Proficiency with Accuro EMR is required (The interview includes a technical assessment of your proficiency with Accuro)
Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
Solid attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure
Professional, reliable, and punctual
A warm, friendly, and patient-focused attitude with excellent customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Assets:
Fluency in a second language is considered a strong asset, particularly Italian, Filipino (Tagalog), Spanish, or Portuguese
Experience working in family medicine or walk-in clinics.

Pay: $17.60-$22.00 per hour
