We are seeking a dedicated, hard-working, and creative individual to join our team as a Baker. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant food environment, focusing on baking, food preparation, and customer service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. We are a small, non-traditional bakery that specializes in manufacturing and baking pies. As a small team, we are looking for someone to fit in well with our company's values and vision.

Responsibilities
Prepare and assemble baked goods, including pies, tarts, and other ingredients with precision and creativity.
Assist with food preparation tasks such as mixing, measuring, and assembling ingredients for baking and cooking.
Ensure all food handling practices comply with safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area.
Package baked goods for retail display or customer orders while maintaining quality standards.
Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with product selections and answering questions about baked goods.
Maintain inventory levels of ingredients and supplies,



notifying management of shortages or needs.
Follow all food safety protocols to ensure a safe and hygienic environment at all times.

Skills
Experience in baking or commercial cooking is highly preferred.
Strong skills in food preparation, cooking, and food handling techniques.
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures.
Ability to operate kitchen equipment efficiently and safely.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude.
Attention to detail in decorating, packaging, and overall presentation of baked goods.
Ability to work well under pressure in a quick-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
Willingness to learn new techniques and expand culinary skills within the food industry.
Driver's license with a clean driving record preferred but not required
Must legally be able to work in Canada

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
