We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client in Vaughan for an experienced Red Seal Industrial Mechanic / Millwright (433A).

Position Overview

Our client is seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of industrial machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will have robust mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, pumps, motors, and gearboxes.

Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and equipment
Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system issues
Maintain and repair pumps, motors, gearboxes, and related equipment
Perform fabrication and welding, including cutting and MIG welding
Perform basic machining when required
Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical schematics
Use power tools, hand tools, shop equipment, and measuring instruments safely
Follow preventative maintenance procedures and maintenance schedules
Maintain a secure and organized work environment
Follow all applicable safety procedures, including WHMIS, GMP, LOTO, and Hot Work Permit requirements.





Qualifications & Requirements
Valid Red Seal Industrial Mechanic / Millwright (433A) certification – required
Previous industrial maintenance/mechanical experience
Solid knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Experience with pumps, motors, and gearboxes
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Fabrication and MIG welding experience
Basic machining knowledge
Ability to read blueprints and mechanical schematics
Knowledge of WHMIS, GMP, LOTO, and Hot Work procedures
Ability to work safely and independently in an industrial/manufacturing environment

Compensation

Salary: $60,000–$65,000 per year, depending on the candidate’s years of experience, technical knowledge, qualifications/certifications, and education.
