Selvey Roofing is looking to add another roofer or roofing labourer to our crew in Stratford.

We’re a small, local roofing company and we’re looking for someone who is reliable, works hard and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty. Roofing experience is great, but we’re also open to someone with construction experience or someone who is willing to learn and put the work in.

The job involves everything that comes along with a day on a roofing crew: tear-offs, carrying and loading material, keeping the job site clean, helping with installations and repairs and working alongside the rest of the crew to get the job done properly.

We work on a little bit of everything, including asphalt shingles, metal, cedar, slate and flat roofing, so there’s lots of prospect to learn different types of roofing and build your skills.

This is physical, outdoor work,

so you need to be comfortable working at heights, lifting materials and working outside in different weather conditions. Being dependable and showing up ready to work is key to us.

Roofing or construction experience and Working at Heights certification are assets. A valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation are preferred.

This is a full time position, generally Monday to Friday, with hours varying depending on weather and workload. Pay will be determined based on experience and ability.

If you’re interested, send us your resume through Indeed and tell us a little bit about yourself and any roofing or construction experience you have.

Pay: $17.95-$35.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
