Lead Carpenter - Residential Renovations
Our client is an established construction and renovation firm with a robust reputation for quality craftsmanship and reliable service. They specialize in residential renovations, including kitchens, bathrooms, basements, additions, and custom projects, and are known for their professionalism, teamwork, and commitment to excellence.
Our client is looking for a Lead Carpenter to oversee residential renovation projects in Winnipeg and the surrounding areas.

Responsibilities:
Oversee and lead residential renovation projects from start to finish.
Perform framing and finish carpentry work with precision and attention to detail.
Interpret and work from construction drawings and blueprints.
Coordinate and supervise crews, subcontractors, and apprentices.
Mentor junior carpenters and apprentices to foster skill development.
Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and job-site organization.
Troubleshoot in office challenges and keep projects on schedule.
Maintain accurate records of project progress and materials used.

Qualifications:
Valid Journeyman Carpenter certification (Red Seal preferred).
5+ years of experience in residential construction and renovations.
Experience in framing, finishing, and renovation carpentry.
Strong leadership and project management skills.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
Ownership of essential personal hand tools.
Experience with construction drawings and blueprints is an asset.
Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations.
