Duties
Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, filling, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
Apply primer, base coat, and explicit coat using spray guns and other power tools with precision and attention to detail
Inspect vehicles for imperfections and perform touch-ups or corrections as needed
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained
Assist with minor mechanical repairs or adjustments when necessary to support overall vehicle restoration
Follow safety protocols consistently to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
Requirements
Previous dealership or automotive body shop experience is highly preferred
Robust mechanical knowledge related to vehicle repair processes
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and spray equipment used in autobody prep and painting
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling large vehicle parts or materials
Knowledge of automotive repair techniques and procedures to ensure proper surface preparation and finishing
Mechanic experience is a plus, providing a broader understanding of vehicle systems
Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to quality control
