Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant workplace. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent kitchen skills, and a commitment to food safety standards. Duties
Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards
Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every plate
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety protocols
Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation
Support other kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure timely service




Assist with plating and presentation of dishes for service

Skills
Proven experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or food service setting
Strong knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices
Ability to perform meal preparation efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent understanding of kitchen operations and food industry best practices
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members
Knowledge of various cooking techniques and culinary terminology
