About the role

We’re looking for a reliable, friendly Pharmacy Assistant to join our busy community pharmacy team. The successful candidate will help provide efficient, caring service to patients and support the daily workflow of the pharmacy.

Responsibilities
Welcome patients and assist with drop-off and pick-up
Enter prescription information and process prescription orders
Assist with filling prescriptions under the direction of the pharmacist
Put away pharmacy orders and maintain organized, stocked work areas
Help with claims, expiry checks, outbox tasks, and other pharmacy duties
Answer phones and direct questions to the pharmacist when needed
Protect patient privacy and follow pharmacy policies and procedures




Work collaboratively with pharmacists and pharmacy team members

Qualifications
Previous community pharmacy experience is an asset
Solid customer service and communication skills
Good attention to detail and organization
Comfortable working in a busy, team-based environment
Dependable, qualified, and able to manage changing priorities
Availability for a mix of shifts, including some evenings and weekends, is preferred
