Daniel et Daniel Catering & Events, Toronto’s premier caterer is seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Chef to join our skilled and dynamic team.

Daniel et Daniel operates in Toronto’s most exclusive venues including Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada, Toronto Botanical Gardens, Steam Whistle Brewery, The Royal Conservatory of Music, The Royal Ontario Museum and many more.

The candidate should have some experience working in a pastry kitchen, have a passion for food, be creative, and have awareness of emerging trends.

The role requires:

· Knowledge of pastry basics; preparation methods and proper procedures

· Work with Executive Pastry Chef to develop menu items and presentation

· Weekend availability.

Skills required:





· Ability to think on your feet and solve problems quickly

· Cleanliness and organization

· Follow and understand recipes

· Work independently with minimal supervision

· Be self-motivated

· Be critical and strive for perfection in your work

· Familiar with making Mousses, sponges, Ganache, masking and finishing cakes, cake decorating, tarts and slab cakes.
