Job description

Grain Elevator Operator:

This Position requires an individual who enjoys working outdoors, with modern PLC controlled equipment in a sometimes fast-paced environment, as well as customer satisfaction and interaction. This position is based out of our Mitchell elevator.

General Duties:

Receiving and conditioning grain from the local harvest

Some heavy Equipment Operations

Unloading and loading grain trailers





Working with all other team members to achieve our company goals

Overall maintenance of facility and grounds

Assets but not required:

Background and experience in agriculture

Wrenching / Mechanically Inclined

The Ideal Candidate would be dependable, hardworking, and passionate about agriculture. They take pride in the work they do, have a positive attitude, and work well both independently and as part of a team, while reporting to the yard manager. They are willing to learn, love working outdoors, adaptable, safety-conscious, reliable and are committed to being part of the team.

They would have basic computer knowledge, good communication and robust, positive customer service skills. They would be mechanically inclined with some experience in agriculture. This person would strive to grow in their position to a potential long-term path within our company.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
