Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our busy kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and delivering excellent food service. This role involves preparing ingredients, cooking dishes to order, and ensuring all food safety standards are met. Duties
Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and quality standards
Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining consistency and presentation
Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and cooking equipment
Follow proper food safety protocols to prevent cross-contamination and ensure hygiene
Support the kitchen team during busy service hours by managing multiple tasks simultaneously
Adhere to restaurant policies regarding serving, meal preparation,



and food safety standards

Skills
Experience in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within a restaurant or food service setting
Knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety regulations
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Robust understanding of meal preparation techniques and presentation standards
Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and customer service
Familiarity with the food industry trends and best practices in food safety and sanitation
Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential

Pay: $16.00-$19.00 per hour
