Responsibilities
Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients to ensure timely meal service
Support the cooking process by following recipes and standards to deliver high-quality dishes consistently
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment to uphold food safety standards
Handle food handling procedures safely and efficiently, adhering to hygiene regulations at all times
Contribute to serving guests by ensuring orders are accurate and delivered promptly, providing friendly customer service
Support cashiering duties using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for order processing and cash handling
Help with general cleaning duties within the kitchen and dining areas to maintain a hygienic environment
Requirements
Previous food service experience or kitchen work experience is highly desirable
Robust communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and assist guests
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks involved in meal preparation and cleaning
Experience with restaurant operations, including serving, cashiering, or hotel/hospitality environments is a plus
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar technology for order processing and cash handling
A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a team-oriented mindset are essential for success in this lively role
