Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
Assist licensed pharmacists with medication preparation, labeling, and dispensing
Manage inventory of pharmaceuticals, ensuring proper storage and stock levels
Provide excellent patient care by answering questions and offering guidance under supervision
Prepare and package medications accurately according to prescriptions
Maintain accurate records of medication distribution and patient interactions
Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and documentation
Ensure compliance with safety protocols, health regulations, and privacy standards
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate smooth pharmacy operations
Requirements
Prior experience in a hospital or pharmacy setting is highly desirable
Knowledge of pharmacy procedures, medical terminology, and medication administration processes
Robust attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
Certification or training as a pharmacy technician is a plus but not mandatory
